SINBAD'S SUMMER JAM: 70's Soul Music Festival is a summer music festival organized and hosted by comedian Sinbad, and features performances by prominent soul and funk musicians from the 1970s. The 1st festival was held in Saint Martin and aired August 5, 1995 on HBO.
Jam 1 was filmed in St. Martin in 1995, Jam 2 was filmed in Montego Bay in 1996.
Summer Jam 1 includes War, The Average White Band, The O'Jays, The Ohio Players, Teena Marie, Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly, Gladys Knight, and Earth, Wind, and Fire.
Summer Jam 2 includes Con Funk Shun, Natalie Cole, Gap Band, Kool & The Gang, Al Green, Lakeside, Tower of Power, Ziggy Marley, and Chaka Khan.
