This often-banned and seldom-seen documentary features Charles Manson's real-life followers at the Spahn Ranch, and interviews with District Attorney Vincent Bugliosi, Jerry Rubin and other experts. Most of the footage, filmed before the famous murders, shows the mommunal free-love and drug lifestyle of the future killers. Manson himself is heard singing and is seen in tense courtroom footage. There is also a history of Manson from his birth to the family formation to the Tate/La Bianca murders.
