Description
1990 TV movie Memories of Murder starring Nancy Allen, is a psychological mystery/thriller directed by Robert Michael Lewis.
Nancy Allen plays Alice (also identified in some sources as Jennifer Gordon/Corey), a woman suffering from severe amnesia. After recovering some of her memories, she discovers that she is married to Michael (Robin Thomas) and has a daughter, but she doesn't recognize her own family or feel that her current life is truly hers.
Things become increasingly disturbing when Alice begins having visions and memories of a mysterious young woman named Carmen, played by Vanity. Carmen appears to be connected to Alice's forgotten past and begins threatening or stalking Alice and her family. Alice becomes desperate to discover what happened before her memory loss—and why someone seems determined to destroy her new life.
The film combines amnesia, hidden identity, psychological suspense, and revenge, with the central mystery revolving around Alice's two seemingly contradictory lives.
