Description
The Man in the Iron Mask is a swashbuckling historical adventure based on the classic novel by Alexandre Dumas. Starring Richard Chamberlain in a dual role, the film tells the story of King Louis XIV and his long-lost identical twin brother, Philippe, who has been secretly imprisoned and forced to wear an iron mask to conceal his identity.
When France suffers under the selfish and ineffective rule of Louis XIV, the legendary D'Artagnan and a group of loyal allies uncover the truth about Philippe—the rightful heir to the throne. They devise a daring plan to free the imprisoned twin and replace the corrupt king with the compassionate Philippe before France descends into chaos.
