A group of people are trapped in a broken-down farmhouse, somewhere in the wilds of rural Pennsylvania.  They are surrounded by a small army of flesh-eating zombies.  The opening graveyard sequence and the ensuing chase scene toward the deserted farmhouse are unforgettable.  The fiery explosion near the gas pump and the following zombie feast are moments that will live forever in the annals of horror film history.  There are many other equally classic moments.

This is arguably the last great black and white horror film with some of the greatest moments of B&W cinematography ever put on film.  Night of the Living Dead is truly one of the greatest horror films ever made.
