They countdown the top 50 songs of 1979 with the one and only Solid Gold Dancers.

With guest stars performing in the show: George Benson, Blondie, Rita Coolidge, Commodores, Robert John, Nicolette Larson, Maxine Nightingale, Peaches & Herb, Sister Sledge, Amy Stewart, John Stewart, Rod Stewart, Supertramp, USC Trojan Marching Band, Village People.

Special guest appearances by Steve Allen, Marty Cohen, Tim Reid, Richard Sanders. Plus all of the great songs from 1979 as they countdown the top 50.

This was taped off TV with a VHS tape at the time and has been transfered to a DVD. There is some grainy spots and a couple drop outs but it is very viewable and the sound is very good. The music, the clothes, the dancing, and of course the Solid Gold Dancers. Wonderful flash back in time.
