Gary Anderson kicked two field goals and Frank Pollard scored on a nine yard run giving the Pittsburgh Steelers a 13-9 victory over the Seattle Seahawks at Three Rivers Stadium. The teams exchanged field goals in the first quarter, then in the second quarter Dave Krieg threw a 12 yard touchdown pass to Steve Largent giving the Seahawks a 9-3 lead. Pittsburgh cut it 9-6 with a Gary Anderson 24 yard field goal before halftime. No team scored again until Pollard's go ahead touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Pollard led all rushers with 106 yards on 22 carries. Mark Malone completed 11 of 18 passes for 99 yards while Krieg finished 9 of 15 for 91 yards with the one touchdown and one interception. With the win the Steelers improved to 7-5, while the Seahawks dropped to 7-5.
